Getting Started

Start watching or streaming on Clipfarm

Watching clips

No account needed. Go to clipfarm.watch/events, pick an event, and click any match to watch.

You can also search by team number at clipfarm.watch/teams to find every match a team has footage for.

Signing in

clipfarm.watch/login; enter your email and you'll get a magic link. No password required. Sign-in is currently limited to invited users; reach out via Discord if you need access.

Once signed in you can:

  • Dashboard allows you to see platform-wide stats and quick links
  • Playlists allows you organise clips into named collections with custom colours and icons
  • Scout by creating shared scouting collections and inviting your teammates to collaborate
  • Analytics allow you to view clip view counts, pageview trends, and top matches (only available to organizers)
  • Configure push notifications for match starts, and clip-ready alerts.
  • Generate keys for programatic access by creating API Keys
  • Update your preferences like theme, language, etc.

Streaming an event

Organizer accounts can run automated clipping for live events. Contact the Clipfarm team to have an event assigned to your account, then choose a streaming mode from Dashboard -> Events.

Cloud Mode

Paste a YouTube or Twitch stream URL into your event dashboard. Clipfarm monitors it and clips matches as they happen. No extra software required.

RTMP Mode

Stream directly to Clipfarm's ingest server. Configure OBS or another encoder with the RTMP credentials from your dashboard. We restream to YouTube/Twitch and clip with minimal delay.

MatchBox Mode

Download the open-source MatchBox desktop app, connect it to your event with an authorization token from your dashboard, and stream to YouTube yourself. MatchBox handles the clip uploads automatically.

See Streaming Modes for a full comparison of all three options.
